“All the employees of Coris Bank International Mali welcome the appointment of its Managing Director, Ms. Aissata KONÉ SIDIBÉ at the head of the Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions of Mali (APBEF) as new President since February 9, 2022.
Indeed, APBEF-MALI is a non-profit association, to which any bank or financial institution operating in Mali adheres. Its objective is to create and maintain cordial relations between its members, defend their interests by implementing actions to achieve the objectives of all financial institutions in the market.
It contributes to improving their image with customers and the authorities, and participates in diversified actions to ensure professionalism in the banking system. It is the body governing all banks and financial institutions in its relations with the Government, the Chamber of Commerce and other professional organizations.
APBEF-MALI also serves as an intermediary between its members and the monetary and financial authorities, through the powers vested in it by law and regulatory texts.
It can be mandated by the Minister of Economy and Finance, to ensure other common bodies that banks and establishments will constitute.
